Perfect for a sunrise drive. Leave Bangalore at 4 AM, reach Nandi Hills for sunrise, and be back by lunch. The winding road up the hill is fun to drive and the views from the top are spectacular.

Yercaud is less touristy, less crowded, and much more peaceful than Ooty. The Yercaud Lake, Shevaroy Temple, and Killiyur Falls make it a great budget weekend option.
